Front porch.

Iced tea.

Hubby at work.

Grill going.

Finally, her ears don’t ring.

Complaints aren’t filed.

No glares.

Neighbors sniff, furrow brows.

Beef?

Nope.

Daily joggers scan wearily.

Where’s Raucous Snarling Mastiff Hubby Loves?

Hit? Killed? Smirk. Too bad.

Continue jogging, less nervousness.

Wife flips hefty, seasoned cuts.

Peace.
